Rebekah Velazquez -Lead Photographer

Hi! I am Rebekah, but everyone calls me Becky. I'm a small town girl who loves the Lord, My family and Photography. I have been photographing families for over 10 years and have been photographing weddings for the past 8 years. Photographing weddings is one of my favorite things. My photography style is natural and true to life color. My goal is to capture timeless images, that accurately reflect the beauty and emotion of your special day. I want to provide you with quality, affordable photography that you will cherish for years to come.

I have loved photography since I was a little girl and my grandmother first showed me our family photo albums. The fact that I could look back generations and see what life was like for my ancestors just inspired me. Now it is my joy to capture special memories for not only my own family but for yours as well.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

-Becky

My Family

When I don't have a camera in my hands, you can find me working with my husband on our latest D.I.Y. project or building something on our ranch. My husband, Roberto, and I met in college, we married the summer of 2007 and we now have 4 wonderful children, Isabel, Roberto IV, Alejandro and Olivia, whom I have the honor of homeschooling. Roberto is a truck driver and occasionally I get him out of his 18 wheeler to help as my second shooter for weddings. He has an amazing eye for detail and It's always a lot of fun when we get to work together.

A Few Facts About Me

  1. I am a huge history buff. I love world history but I completely geek out over family history and neat facts about historical buildings
  2. I am bilingual, well, partially I'm about 75% fluent in Spanish. My husband was born in Puerto Rico and Spanish was his first language, so when we started dating I asked him to teach me Spanish.
  3. I teach a Sunday school class for the 3-5 year old's at my church and I absolutely love working with that age group
  4. I have spent more time studying photography independently than I did getting my bachelors degree in education.
  5. If I wasn't a photographer and would have probably been an event planner. I love decorating and I enjoy using those skills to design custom Christmas sets for Christmas mini Sessions.
  6. I Don't like Photoshop, I know unpopular opinion, but hear me out, I think you are perfect the way you are and would never want to change your natural beauty through edits, filters and blur tools. I believe in capturing you as you are now at your currant stage of life.
  7. I love my chickens and I probably have too many.
