Tips to help you plan for your upcoming session

Tips for your upcoming session:

Please allow adequate time for your session and do your best to be on time. If you are running late that time comes out of your overall session time as I may have a client booked after you and it would not be fair to take time away from their session.

When planning what to wear for your session consider the following.

  • dressing your family in coordinating colors that are not overly busy will help your photos appear clean and more cohesive.
  • lighter or pastel colors will help photos have a lighter airier look, while darker colors will give a deeper rich tone to your photos.
  • For a more formal look, men should wear full length pants, a collared shirt and closed toe shoes.
  • Ladies should choose figure flattering clothing that makes them feel comfortable and confident. For example, if you are not as confident about your arms, then a sleeveless dress may not make you feel as comfortable as something with sleeves.
  • Basically, if you don't love how you look in your outfit, chances are you won't like how you look in your photos either, all that to say wear what makes you feel beautiful.

If children will be photographed

  • Try to choose comfortable clothing and shoes that your child won't fight wearing.
  • Explain where you are going and what will be expected of them before your session
  • Be prepared to feed any babies right before your session and during the session if needed.
  • If your Child uses a pacifier or has a special toy, please have it on hand.
  • Consider bringing your child's favorite snack or treat as an incentive to sit for pictures.
  • If you have any decorations or props you would like included in your photos feel free to bring them to your session.,
